Biathlon
Challenge, Autrans, 6
and 7 January 2007: 3
podiums for Dragonski on
Sunday with Jean-Guillaume
Béatrix, Marie-Laure
Brunet and Martin Fourcade
whose skis were carefully
prepared. For those who
were present a brief recap
of our waxing:
- slight brushing with
brass brushes;
- manual Swix meduim
structure application on RG 14
Rossignol skis (light
pressure above and
stronger 10 cm above the
binding). That's right,
before waxing!
- brushing with hard nylon
white roto brushes;
- manual brushing with
soft nylon brushes (to
remove dirt, waxes and
structure scobs);
- direct Cera Max HIGH
application;
- roto corking;
- brushing with hard nylon
white roto brushes;
- manual brushing with
soft nylon brushes;
- liquid Cera Max
Wet application with an
absorbent filter (also put
latex gloves);
- very light manual
brushing with clean soft
nylon brushes (used only for liquids).
Tour
de ski, 2 and 3/01 round
in Oberstdorf:
Petra Majdic wins
ona type of snow hard for
kick waxes choice, while
almost everybody tried
just to sand their skis
without further wax
application (sanding with
grit paper), we decided to
apply Dragonski kick wax KP4
-
VIOLET / LIGHT
(0°C/-2°C), known to be
good for gliding and just
the limit for kicking. It
was a risky choice made by
her serviceman
Glianluca Marcollini that
paid its way.
Petra took the second
position in this Tour de ski
at 26" to Kristin
STEIRA.
Tour
de Ski 2007, 31/12 round
in Munïch, Petra
Majdic finishes the 5th.
Tuesday
19 December 2006, Bessans
ski resort offers starting
from this Sunday 17 December
60 km of groomed
tracks for classic and
skating technics (25cm
layer). Autrans offers
you 5km of groomed tracks.
Clusaz 2006, the 8th place
for Petra
Majdic on 15km ladies and
28th for Diego
Ruiz on 30km. Satisfactory
results: we put PFX G8
graphit/Molyb as the base
for two races and it, thus,
proved its large
temperature range, as the
weather conditions on
Saturday were intermediate
(air temp:
-5°C, snow temp: -7°C,
humidity: 63%). A
bilateral contract between
Dragonski and the Japanese
team will allow us
starting from January to
test some of our Cera Max
in Sapporo.
Cogne 2006 (Italy),
Second place for Petra
Majdic on 15km classic and
first succes of our Cera
Max v2 !
Cera Max
generation 2 has come
out from our laboratories. Gilles
Marguet (FFS biathlon) and
Gianluca Marcollini (Slovenian
Federation - Petra Majdic)
were the first to test
this accelerator in frames
of competitions.
Hochfilzen
2006 (Austria), third place
for French relay team with
Cera Max medium.
Ostersund
2006 (Sweden), Raphael
Poiree is 3rd in 12,5km
pursuit, Vincent
Defrasne 8th and a
wonderful 17th place for
Simon Fourcade (with
liquid Cera Max).
Welcome
to the conference
"Learning more
about snow and its
dangers. Explaining
avalanche hazards to our
children" that
will take place in St Nizier du Moucherotte,
France, Tanagra hall (in
front of a school on
Grenoble st.) from 18h to 20h.
Consult
the programme.
Lillehammer
2006 (Norway), first podium
for Maxime Laheurte and
once again with Dragonski.
Kuusamo 2006 (Finland),
excellent results with
first victories for Petra
Madjic (SLO) and Jason
Lamy-Chapuis (FRA); the
new Cera Max generation
excellent performance on
humid snow is confirmed.
Duesseldörf 2006 (Germany),

from the 16th
place in 2005 to the 6th
just before the ITALY I

for the new liquid Cera
Max molecule on saturated
snow.
Season 2006/2007 :
Dragonski works in close
cooperation with the
Slovenian Ski Federation
and in particular with Petra
Majdic and her skiman Gianluca Marcollini,
with whom we have been
already working all these
years for Guttierez Juan
Jesus, Stephanie Belmondo
and for the Valbusa's,
brother and sister.
The
project DGS (Dynamic Groove
Structures) is launched
this summer, it is a new
device for structuring ski
bases worked out in our workshop. It
will directly meet the
demands of professional
athletes; backslash
0, nano-disposition, 5
diamond tools,
hydrodynamic
visualisation of
structures...
This
year Jacques
DOUSSIERE, Research
Director in CNRS (French
National Science Research
Center) in bio-chemistry,
Doctor in Science, has
joined our team
R&D to develop a new
wax generation.
Dragonski
and the Spanish and
Slovenian Federations have
signed a convention for
the development of a new
strucutre generation
within the DGS (Dynamic
Groove Structure) program.
A
new technical partner has
joined us this season: ROSSIGNOL
SKIS.
Two
new recruits in our team:
biathletes
Jean Guillaume Beatrix and
Clement Arnaud. Devoted to
our policy, "few
d'athletes but a lot of

summer we adjusted their
rifles specially for them.Turin
